The 35A is the smallest and lightest model in the Skyhawk series, sized for small fixed-wing UAVs, F3A-style sport aircraft, and entry-level multirotor arms — a natural starting point for compact platforms that still need precise speed control, adjustable SBEC power, and flight telemetry.
35A Continuous / 55A Burst Current
The 55A burst rating gives roughly 57% headroom over continuous output, enough to absorb hard throttle transients from gusts, payload shifts, or aggressive maneuvers without tripping the ESC's protection circuits mid-flight.
Compact 45g, Aluminum-Shell Build
At 48×25×16mm and 45g with 14-gauge power wiring, the 35A fits tight fuselage bays and small multirotor arms; the aluminum shell adds heat dissipation and physical protection without adding meaningful weight to a small airframe.
Constant-Speed Mode for Stable Flight
An advanced speed-governing algorithm holds propeller RPM steady as load changes, helping small multirotor platforms maintain stable lift through payload or wind variation, and giving fixed-wing UAVs consistent thrust response under autopilot throttle control.
Adjustable Cutoff and Restart Timing
A manually adjustable cutoff window lets the motor be quickly restarted after an inadvertent throttle-off event, reducing crash risk from operator or autopilot signal errors during critical flight phases.
8A Adjustable SBEC
The built-in switching BEC outputs 6.0V, 7.4V, or 8.4V at up to 8A continuous — enough to power a flight controller and servo set on small UAV or fixed-wing platforms without a separate UBEC.
Comprehensive Built-In Protection
Start-up, over-temperature, throttle signal-loss, overload, low-voltage, and over-current protection all come standard, backed by a power-on self-test that checks for short circuits and phase loss before every flight.
Multi-Channel Programming and Telemetry
Parameters can be set from the transmitter stick, the ZTW LCD Program Card G2, or the Bluetooth module app, with real-time feedback on current, voltage, temperature, RPM, and throttle — useful data for UAV flight-log and ground-station integration.
