Natural Gas and Heavy Oil Double Purpose Burner for Aluminum Melting Furnace
The regenerative combustion system adopts PLC fully automatic control mode. Equipped with a multi-color human-machine touch display screen, the system can digitally and intuitively show real-time data including aluminum material temperature, internal furnace temperature and exhaust air temperature of the regenerative chamber.
The exhaust flue gas temperature from the regenerative burner is controlled below 200℃. A small portion of flue gas (less than 10% of the total volume) is discharged through the pressure regulating bypass flue to stabilize furnace internal pressure, and the overall final exhaust gas temperature is kept under 250℃.
This system takes natural gas as the ignition and combustion fuel.
The working pressure of compressed air ranges from 4kg/cm² to 6kg/cm², with an air consumption rate of 35 cubic meters per minute.
The system’s main power input is 380V alternating current with a frequency of 50Hz.

1. Daily Inspection Core Items
Operators need to check and record key operating indicators every day, including system temperature and furnace internal pressure, gas supply pressure and real-time combustion condition, furnace lining structure and overall sealing performance, exhaust system operating status, as well as cooling water circulation system.
2. Routine Maintenance Cycle Standards
Daily Maintenance: Remove slag and dirt accumulated at the furnace mouth and flow channel; conduct visual and functional inspection of burners, ignition devices and all sealing parts to ensure normal operation.
Weekly Maintenance: Calibrate and verify the accuracy of thermocouples and temperature control instruments; clean scale and impurities in the crystallizer water gap; check the structural integrity of filter plates.
Monthly Maintenance: Carry out full inspection on furnace lining thickness and surface cracks; calibrate the matching accuracy of casting speed and traction synchronization system; replace aging, deformed and failed sealing rings and gaskets in a timely manner.
Annual Maintenance: Complete comprehensive furnace body overhaul, including furnace lining repair and refractory relining; conduct full inspection, debugging and maintenance for casting mechanical equipment and electrical control systems.
3. Operational Safety Specifications
High-temperature Injury Prevention: On-site staff must wear high-temperature resistant work clothes, protective masks and heat insulation gloves during operation to effectively avoid high-temperature scalds and burns.
Explosion Prevention Measures: The gas-fired furnace is strictly forbidden to have gas leakage, and regular gas tightness detection must be implemented. It is prohibited to put any wet materials into the furnace to prevent explosion accidents caused by the reaction between moisture and high-temperature aluminum liquid.
Emergency Disposal Requirements: The operation site must be equipped with standard dry powder fire extinguishers and dry sand for emergency fire fighting and accident disposal.
