316 stainless steel coil (UNS S31600) is a molybdenum-bearing austenitic alloy developed for service in chloride-rich and mildly reducing chemical environments. The 2B finish is generated through cold rolling followed by annealing and pickling, yielding a uniform, low-roughness matte surface that is easy to clean and readily accepts forming and coating operations. Our cut-to-length service unrolls, levels and shears full coils into flat sheets, blanks or narrow strips according to customer-supplied dimensions, removing the need for in-house slitting lines and reducing offcut losses. The combination of a marine-grade alloy and a precision cutting service makes this product suitable for fabricators, roofing contractors and equipment builders who require ready-to-use material with tight dimensional control.

Cut-to-length 316 2B coil is used for coastal curtain wall panels, marine railing infill, chemical equipment cladding, kitchen exhaust hoods, elevator door skins and architectural column wraps. Fabricators producing mixed panel sizes from one coil benefit most from the cutting service.
Molybdenum resists chloride pitting. 316 outperforms 304 in salt spray and de-icing chemical exposure, extending service life in coastal construction. Precision cutting reduces material waste. Sheets arrive at final size, cutting scrap and secondary shearing labor. 2B surface is uniform and fabrication-ready. Consistent roughness supports adhesive bonding, painting and laser cutting without surface preparation.
The coil functions as a corrosion-resistant skin and structural substrate, while the cutting service acts as an inventory rationalization tool, letting buyers order exact sizes rather than stocking multiple coil widths.
Store flat and dry on wooden pallets. Deburr cut edges before welding. Use ER316L filler wire; control interpass temperature below 150°C. Clean with nitric acid passivation after welding to restore corrosion resistance.
Prevent iron contamination from carbon steel tools and storage racks. Do not use hydrochloric acid cleaners. Avoid prolonged exposure above 60°C in high-chloride media.
Cut-to-length orders ship within 10–15 working days after deposit; full coils within 7–10 days. Ports: Qingdao, Shanghai, Tianjin.
T/T (30% deposit, balance before shipment) or L/C at sight.
Moisture-proof paper and PVC film wrap, steel strapping, fumigated wooden pallets. Cut sheets are interleaved and edge-protected for transport.
