Silicon Carbide 320# Is Smelted By Resistance Furnace At High Temperature
1. Product Introduction
Silicon carbide, chemical formula for SiC, is made of quartz sand, petroleum coke (or coal coke), wood chips (adding salt for green silicon carbide production) and other raw materials, then smelting in a resistance furnace at high temperature, and it can also be called electrolon sand or refractory sand. Silicon carbide is divided into two kinds: black silicon carbide and green silicon carbide, are hexagonal crystal, specific gravity is 3.20~3.25g/cm3, Mohs hardness of silicon carbide is 9.5.
Our company strictly controls the quality of raw materials, smelting production with high standard raw materials, to ensure the quality of products. Among them, coal has the following characteristics: low ash, low sulfur, low phosphorus and high calorific value, high mechanical strength, high chemical activity, high specific resistance and so on; The content of SiO2 in the silica is greater than 99℅, and the selection and washing processing to produce uniform particle size.
