Situo Hardware specializes in custom 303 stainless steel tapered dowel pins, CNC machined taper-head locating pins, and non-standard taper positioning shafts for tooling applications. Our precision hardware components are widely used in tooling fixtures, inspection jigs, precision molds, automation modules, instrument equipment, and mechanical alignment assemblies.
Our 303 stainless steel tapered dowel pins are CNC precision turned from free-cutting 303 stainless steel bar stock. Grade 303 offers excellent machinability for secondary operations including flat milling, slotting, and drilling. The tapered guiding face can be manufactured with custom taper angles to achieve self-aligning effects for fast insertion and positioning.
Available configurations include plain taper pin, stepped taper pin, holed taper pin, and slotted-head taper pin. Taper tolerance, outer diameter, and overall length are tightly controlled for high positioning accuracy. Customization options include taper angle, pin diameter, total length, step features, and through or blind holes for precision assemblies requiring positioning and secondary machining.
We utilize advanced equipment and technology from Japan and Germany, including CNC 5-axis and 6-axis machines. Our maximum processing outer diameter is 60mm with minimum control tolerance of 0.001mm.
Equipment portfolio includes Japanese CNC Tsugami, CNC Citizen, multi-station cold extrusion forming machines, 500T press machines, casting equipment, and various process equipment.
