The SDVEDON CW6180 is a high-performance heavy-duty horizontal engine lathe, specially designed for high-efficiency heavy turning of large-sized shaft parts, disc sleeve parts, flange parts, and thread workpieces. As a flagship heavy-duty model in the CW series, it combines ultra-high rigidity, large processing range, and reliable performance, making it an ideal equipment for large mechanical processing workshops, repair shops, and heavy machinery manufacturing enterprises.
Built with a high-strength cast iron bed and 550mm wide guideway, the CW6180 has undergone strict quenching treatment and finite element optimization, ensuring excellent wear resistance, vibration resistance, and long service life. The bed structure can withstand a maximum load of 3T, effectively improving machining accuracy and stability during heavy cutting, even under long-term high-intensity operation.
Equipped with an 11kW high-torque main motor, this lathe delivers a spindle speed range of 5.4-720rpm (18 forward steps), easily handling heavy rough turning and high-precision finish turning of various materials such as carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. The 105mm large spindle through-hole meets the processing needs of through-hole parts and large bar stock, and the A2-11 spindle nose has strong versatility, compatible with various large chucks and tooling.
The CW6180 is equipped with a 4-position manual turret as standard, supporting 30×30mm tool shank, which can be matched with various turning tools, boring tools, and grooving tools, with fast tool change speed, reducing auxiliary time and improving processing efficiency. The X/Z axis feed system has 64 steps, ensuring precise feed control for various processing requirements.
The machine provides flexible center distance options: 1000mm, 1500mm, 2000mm, 3000mm, to meet the processing needs of different length large shaft parts. The tailstock features a 100mm diameter quill, MT#6 taper, and 250mm travel, which can reliably support long shaft parts, improve processing rigidity, and ensure stable machining accuracy.
