The VEDON CW61140 is a flagship extra-heavy-duty gap bed horizontal engine lathe, specially designed for high-efficiency heavy turning of extra-large-sized shaft parts, disc sleeve parts, flange parts, and wind power components. As a top-of-the-line model in the CW series, it combines ultra-high rigidity, ultra-large processing range, and stable precision, making it an indispensable core equipment for heavy machinery manufacturing, wind power equipment, aerospace, and large-scale forging processing enterprises.
Built with a high-strength cast iron gap bed structure and 970mm ultra-wide guideway, the CW61140 features a removable gap section, achieving a maximum swing in gap of 1930mm, which can process extra-large-diameter disc parts that far exceed the bed swing limit, greatly expanding the processing range. The bed has undergone strict finite element optimization and double artificial aging treatment, effectively eliminating internal stress, ensuring the stability of the machine body, and providing excellent vibration resistance during heavy cutting.
Equipped with a 22kW high-torque main motor, this lathe delivers a spindle speed range of 2.5~250rpm (24 normal steps, 12 reverse steps), easily handling heavy rough turning and high-precision finish turning of various materials. The 130mm large spindle through-hole meets the processing needs of extra-large through-hole parts and bar stock, and the A2-15 spindle nose has strong versatility, compatible with various large chucks and tooling.
The CW61140 is equipped with a high-rigidity tool post, supporting 50*50mm tool shank, which can be matched with various heavy-duty turning tools, boring tools, and grooving tools. The tool post has 97 longitudinal and cross feed kinds, with precise feed control for various heavy-duty processing requirements.
The machine provides flexible center distance options from 1500mm to 12000mm, to meet the processing needs of different length extra-long shaft parts. The rapid travel speed is 3740mm/min (longitudinal) and 1870mm/min (cross), reducing auxiliary time and improving production efficiency.
The tailstock features a 160mm diameter sleeve, Metric 80 taper, and 300mm maximum travel, which can reliably support extra-long shaft parts, improve processing rigidity, and ensure stable machining accuracy. The lead screw pitch is 12mm, with powerful thread machining capabilities, supporting various thread types.
All electrical components are imported or domestic famous brands, complying with CE or domestic 3C certification. Before delivery, each machine is strictly inspected according to the inspection procedure, ensuring stable and reliable machining accuracy.
