The HIMatrix F60 is a fully modular system consisting of a subrack and various modules that slide into the available slots, providing flexible configuration for safety-related control applications.
Modular System Configuration
Slot 1: Always houses the power supply module (PS 01) - the wide slot ensures reliable system power
Slot 2: Reserved for the CPU module (CPU 01), which manages all system operations
Remaining Slots: Fully flexible - configure with any combination of modules to customize your system
The F60 system can also be connected to HIMatrix compact systems via SafeEthernet, enabling easy expansion and integration with other control setups.

Modbus TCP - Can operate as master or slave
Send/Receive TCP - Standard TCP communication
SNTP - Time synchronization over the network
EtherNet/IP - Industry-standard connectivity
PROFINET IO Controller - Supported only on F*03 controllers (up to CPU OS V6.x / ELOP II Factory)
PROFINET IO Device - Supported only on F*03 controllers
Note: Each protocol can be configured once per controller.
