This model is appropriate only where the receiving system supports the transmitter's loop requirements and a 10,000 psi full-scale input. A physically similar transmitter with a lower pressure range can produce incorrect displayed values and unsafe alarm behavior if controller scaling is not changed. For retrofits, record the original zero, span, loop power arrangement, input resistance, alarm points and overpressure strategy before disconnecting the installed device.
Inspect the process bore for hardened polymer and confirm that the diaphragm will not bottom against the mounting seat. Protect the flexible section from tight bending and mechanical strain. Verify the connector pin assignment and current-loop polarity before energizing the transmitter. The F007744 association should be checked against the actual nameplate because visually similar ME1 variants can carry additional functional-safety or performance-level suffixes.
ME1-6-M-P05M-1-4-D F007742 is calibrated for 5,000 psi rather than 10,000 psi. ME1-6-M-P10M-1-4-D-P variants include a different suffix associated with a PLc configuration, while ME1-6-M-P10M-1-4-D-S variants may be supplied for a different certified safety configuration. ME2 P10M family versions can include temperature measurement in addition to pressure, changing the electrical interface and cable requirements.
