Rotary Drilling Hose is a high-pressure flexible hose designed for fluid transfer in rotary drilling equipment, drilling fluid circulation systems, well-servicing units, and other oilfield applications. It provides a flexible connection between equipment components where rigid piping cannot adequately accommodate vibration, movement, pressure fluctuation, or installation limitations.
The hose is manufactured with a fluid-resistant inner tube, high-strength reinforcement layers, and a durable outer cover. Depending on required operating conditions, reinforcement can be configured with textile or steel-wire layers to provide the required combination of pressure resistance, flexibility, tensile strength, and fatigue performance.
A land drilling contractor required replacement of several flexible hose assemblies used within its drilling fluid circulation equipment. The original assemblies showed external abrasion near equipment supports. Hongruntong Marine produced replacement Rotary Drilling Hose assemblies with reinforced pressure construction and durable external protection, matching original dimensions and connection configurations.
