Rotary Drilling Hose is engineered for flexible high-pressure fluid transfer in drilling and well-service equipment where reliable pressure containment, controlled movement, and mechanical durability are required. The hose provides a flexible connection between components of a drilling circulation system, helping accommodate vibration, movement, installation tolerances, and equipment displacement that cannot be effectively managed through rigid piping alone.
The hose is manufactured as a multi-layer assembly consisting of an internal fluid-transfer tube, pressure reinforcement layers, and an external protective cover. Depending on the required operating conditions, the reinforcement can be based on high-strength textile materials or steel-wire construction. The internal tube is selected according to the characteristics of the conveyed medium, while the external cover is designed to provide resistance against abrasion, weather exposure, oil contamination, and mechanical handling.
A drilling contractor operating a land-based deep well drilling rig required replacement flexible hose assemblies for a high-pressure drilling fluid circulation system. The drilling rig had a rated drilling depth of approximately 6,000 meters and was being used for continuous drilling operations in a remote field environment.
The original hose assemblies had been exposed to repeated pressure pulsation and vibration during extended operation. External surface wear had also developed in areas where the hose routing passed close to supporting structures. Hongruntong Marine reviewed the technical requirements and supplied customized Rotary Drilling Hose assemblies with reinforced pressure construction and abrasion-resistant outer protection.
Before shipment, the assemblies underwent dimensional and visual inspection, and the agreed testing requirements were completed. Packaging was arranged to protect the hose and fittings during transportation to the remote drilling location. Following installation, the hose assemblies were integrated into the drilling fluid circulation system and placed through the customer's commissioning procedure.

Rotary Drilling Hose is designed around a multi-layer pressure reinforcement structure that provides the mechanical strength required for demanding fluid-transfer applications.
