The ValuePlus Series Centrifugal Spray Dryer converts liquid feed into powder through high-speed rotary atomization. It is a continuous drying system for solutions, emulsions, suspensions and other pumpable feeds that need rapid evaporation and powder formation in a single process stage. It is presented as an economical and practical equipment option for newly established operations, growing businesses and production workshops that are expanding in stages. The value-oriented concept focuses on useful core functions, straightforward operation, maintainable construction and a scalable path for future production development.
Liquid feed enters the center of a rotating atomizing disc and is distributed outward by centrifugal force. At the disc edge, the liquid forms a film or ligaments that break into droplets. The droplets contact hot air inside the drying tower, lose moisture while traveling through the chamber and form dry particles before collection at the tower outlet. Fines in the exhaust stream are recovered through cyclone or bag filtration equipment.
A typical system contains a feed pump, rotary atomizer, drying tower, hot-air distributor, powder discharge, exhaust fan and gas-solid separation equipment. The rotating disc provides a mechanically generated spray pattern, while the tower volume and airflow arrangement provide space for evaporation and particle formation. Cleaning access, product-contact surfaces and powder recovery are integrated into the equipment layout.
Applications include milk and dairy powders, coffee, soy products, protein products, ceramic slurries, dyes, detergents, resin emulsions and selected herbal or pharmaceutical liquids. It is also considered for feeds with suspended solids where a rotary atomizer provides a practical alternative to a small spray nozzle.
The process offers continuous liquid-to-powder conversion, flexible feed-rate adjustment and broad feed-handling potential. The atomizer, drying tower and powder recovery system work together to create a streamlined production route from liquid feed to dry powder.
This positioning makes the equipment suitable for a cost-conscious project plan while keeping the process concept clear, practical and ready for gradual production growth.
Air is filtered and heated to the set temperature, then enters the drying chamber uniformly in a spiral pattern through an air distributor at the top of the tower. The liquid feed is pumped to the top high-speed centrifugal atomizer (10,000 to 30,000 rpm) and atomized into extremely fine droplets (10 to 100 μm) under centrifugal force. The droplets come into contact with hot air in co-current flow and complete moisture evaporation in a very short time (5 to 30 seconds), drying into finished powder. The product is collected at the tower bottom and by a cyclone separator, while exhaust gas is filtered through a bag filter and discharged.
