Dye penetrant testing is one of the simplest and most effective nondestructive testing methods. It provides unique advantages in detecting surface-breaking defects that affect the service life of metallic and non-metallic components as well as the safety of pressure vessels, including welding cracks, fatigue cracks, stress corrosion cracks, grinding cracks and quenching cracks. It features high detection sensitivity, fast results, good repeatability and intuitive display. Dye penetrant testing materials can be completely removed with water, resulting in low testing costs. They are especially suitable for flaw detection on rough surfaces of raw materials and large components, with a minimum sensitivity of Level 2 (intermediate). This product is applicable to penetrant testing of rough surfaces such as castings, forgings, plates, bars and other metal raw materials, large parts and structures requiring Level 2 sensitivity, used in chemical, shipbuilding, railway, petroleum, heavy machinery, metallurgy, military and pressure vessel industries.
