Manual Starters Overview
Manual starters are devices operated manually for simple and straightforward operation without requiring expert intervention. The starter includes a button or rotary knob that enables users to turn connected equipment on or off through mechanical linkages that open or close contacts.

Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or traditional key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transmits power from the battery to the starter motor, activating both the motor and the starter drive (Bendix gear system). The mechanism engages the vehicle's flywheel, cranking the engine to initiate combustion in petrol and diesel vehicles.
Once the engine is running properly, the starter motor disengages from the gear and flywheel as the engine no longer requires the electrical spark to maintain operation.
