Silicone Rubber Coated Fiberglass Fabric Cloth for Fireproof 1000 Degrees Fiberglass
Silicone fiberglass cloth is made of fiberglass material and then coated or impregnated with silicone rubber. This fireproof cloth is resistant to water, chemical corrosion, oil and ultraviolet radiation, low smoke, good flame retardancy, and has flexibility even at low temperatures. It also has better puncture resistance and tear resistance, long service life, and excellent insulation in terms of heat and electricity. The commonly used material is gray or red, with 17 ounces per square yard.
Fiber cloth can withstand high temperatures of 550 ° C, repeated exposure to aluminum water and glass. It has the characteristics of resistance to hydraulic fluids, lubricants, and fuels, which can prevent energy loss in pipelines and hoses, protect employees from burns, and shield induction cooker cables from molten metal splashing. These fabrics are woven from non combustible E-shaped fiberglass yarn and covered with a thick layer of silicone rubber, providing high levels of insulation and fire resistance. When exposed to flames, silicone rubber will become hard skin, forming a protective SiO2 refractory layer, effectively preventing burns from hot hoses and flexible steam pipelines, while reducing thermal energy loss.
Wide temperature range stability: It can be used stably for a long time in an environment of -70 ℃ to 280 ℃. Some high-temperature curing models have higher short-term temperature tolerance and excellent insulation performance.
High mechanical strength and flexibility: retaining the high tensile strength of glass fiber (with a fracture strength of over 1500N/50mm), while possessing the flexibility and toughness of rubber, it can be cut and bent freely without breaking.
Excellent insulation performance: It has a high electrical insulation level, with a breakdown voltage of 20-50kV/mm and a stable dielectric constant (3-3.2), suitable for high-voltage electrical environments.
Aging and weather resistance: resistant to ozone, ultraviolet radiation, and weather aging, with a field service life of over 10 years; Surface oil resistant, waterproof, and washable.
Chemical corrosion resistance: It has good resistance to various acids, bases, and chemical media, suitable as a pipeline anti-corrosion layer, but not suitable for applications containing SO ₂ flue gas.
Fireproof and flame retardant: The substrate itself is non flammable, and the coating has flame retardant properties. It is commonly used in the production of safety facilities such as fireproof curtains and fire isolation curtains.
