Silicone coated glass fiber cloth is a composite material that combines the characteristics of glass fiber and silicone, and belongs to functional products in fire-resistant/fireproof materials. Its core structure is a glass fiber cloth substrate, which is treated with double-sided coated silicone to form a composite layer that combines flexibility and high temperature resistance. This material is commonly used in industrial fields for equipment insulation, sealing protection, and other scenarios, especially suitable for environments that require both temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and tear resistance.
Used for temperatures ranging from -70 ℃ to 230 ℃. Good insulation performance;
Resistant to ozone, oxygen, light, and climate aging, with excellent weather resistance for outdoor use and a lifespan of up to 10 years;
High insulation performance, dielectric constant of 3-3.2, breakdown voltage of 20-50KV/MM;
Good chemical corrosion resistance; Oil resistant, waterproof [washable];
High intensity; It is both soft and tough, and can be cut and processed.
Wide temperature range stability: It can be used stably for a long time in an environment of -70 ℃ to 280 ℃. Some high-temperature curing models have higher short-term temperature tolerance and excellent insulation performance.
High mechanical strength and flexibility: retaining the high tensile strength of glass fiber (with a fracture strength of over 1500N/50mm), while possessing the flexibility and toughness of rubber, it can be cut and bent freely without breaking.
Excellent insulation performance: It has a high electrical insulation level, with a breakdown voltage of 20-50kV/mm and a stable dielectric constant (3-3.2), suitable for high-voltage electrical environments.
Aging and weather resistance: resistant to ozone, ultraviolet radiation, and weather aging, with a field service life of over 10 years; Surface oil resistant, waterproof, and washable.
Chemical corrosion resistance: It has good resistance to various acids, bases, and chemical media, suitable as a pipeline anti-corrosion layer, but not suitable for applications containing SO ₂ flue gas.
Fireproof and flame retardant: The substrate itself is non flammable, and the coating has flame retardant properties. It is commonly used in the production of safety facilities such as fireproof curtains and fire isolation curtains.
