High Temperature Silicon Coated Fiberglass Fabric for Fireproof Bag
The core is glass fiber cloth, which is a substrate woven from countless extremely fine glass fibers and has amazing characteristics: fire resistance, high temperature resistance, and high strength. However, pure fiberglass cloth has drawbacks such as fragility and breathability, so engineers came up with a brilliant solution - to "coat" it with a layer of silicone rubber.
This "dressing" process is not simple. It uses silicone rubber from major brands, which is coated, rolled or impregnated, and then subjected to high-temperature vulcanization treatment to form a composite material with comprehensive performance. According to application requirements, it can be made into two forms: single-sided coating or double-sided coating.
Wide temperature range stability: It can be used stably for a long time in an environment of -70 ℃ to 280 ℃. Some high-temperature curing models have higher short-term temperature tolerance and excellent insulation performance.
High mechanical strength and flexibility: retaining the high tensile strength of glass fiber (with a fracture strength of over 1500N/50mm), while possessing the flexibility and toughness of rubber, it can be cut and bent freely without breaking.
Excellent insulation performance: It has a high electrical insulation level, with a breakdown voltage of 20-50kV/mm and a stable dielectric constant (3-3.2), suitable for high-voltage electrical environments.
Aging and weather resistance: resistant to ozone, ultraviolet radiation, and weather aging, with a field service life of over 10 years; Surface oil resistant, waterproof, and washable.
Chemical corrosion resistance: It has good resistance to various acids, bases, and chemical media, suitable as a pipeline anti-corrosion layer, but not suitable for applications containing SO ₂ flue gas.
Fireproof and flame retardant: The substrate itself is non flammable, and the coating has flame retardant properties. It is commonly used in the production of safety facilities such as fireproof curtains and fire isolation curtains.
