The IG55 Argonite fire suppression system is an inert gas extinguishing solution designed to rapidly reduce oxygen concentration in a protected zone, stopping combustion while remaining safe for occupants. The system is lightweight in design and engineered for low maintenance, making it a reliable choice for critical facilities.

The extinguishing principle of inert gases focuses on reducing the oxygen concentration in the affected zone. When a fire starts, IG55 rapidly penetrates the area and reduces the oxygen level from the normal 21% to a range between 13% and 11% — sufficient to stop combustion while remaining safe for people in the room.

Thanks to the stratification of the gases (due to their density, argon rises and nitrogen falls), protection is achieved throughout the entire space, regardless of ceiling height. During discharge, visibility remains excellent, and since the agent leaves no residue, there are no destructive effects on equipment. Protected equipment continues to function normally, and there is nothing to clean up afterward.
