SAF Spare Part: High-Quality Customization Pressure Ring
The pressure ring is one of the core components of the electrode holder in submerged arc furnaces (SAF). It is responsible for pressing the copper shoe against the electrode, ensuring uniform current transmission from the copper shoe to the electrode. The performance of the pressure ring directly affects the operational reliability and smelting indicators of the SAF. The pressure ring is the main conductive component and key component of the electrode holder in SAF and EAF, responsible for holding and clamping/releasing the electrode. It is installed around the electrode and uses radial pressure to make the copper shoe tightly grip the electrode.
Main functions:1. Pressing copper shoe: Applies radial force to make the copper shoe grip the electrode, reducing contact resistance
2. Conductivity assistance: Assists the copper shoe in current transmission
3. Electrode clamping: Works with the brake to fix and slip the electrode
Based on clamping method, SAF pressure rings are mainly divided into the following types:
Hydraulic Pressure Ring, Mechanical Pressure Ring, Hydraulic + Bolt Combined Type, Bellows Pressure Ring, and Airbag Pressure Ring.

Material Description:
T2 Copper: High-purity electrolytic copper, electrical conductivity ≥97% IACS, excellent thermal conductivity.
304 Stainless Steel: Heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant stainless steel, used for the upper ring structure.
321 Stainless Steel: Titanium-stabilized stainless steel, with better high-temperature resistance than 304.
Based on SAF capacity, the following are selection recommendations for pressure rings:
