The Perforated Fine Screen Mechanical Bar Screen is a precision-engineered pretreatment solution specifically designed for applications requiring ultra-fine solid-liquid separation with aperture sizes as small as 0.5 mm. Constructed entirely from SS316L stainless steel, this equipment delivers exceptional corrosion resistance in aggressive industrial and marine wastewater environments.
Unlike conventional bar-type screens that rely on parallel bars with fixed spacing, this unit employs a perforated plate screening surface with uniformly distributed precision holes, ensuring consistent and reliable capture of fine suspended solids, fibers, hair, and small particulate matter that traditional bar screens cannot reliably intercept.
The perforated plate design significantly expands the effective screening area compared to bar-type configurations of equivalent channel width. Each perforated panel is CNC-punched with thousands of precisely calibrated apertures arranged in a staggered pattern that maximizes open area while maintaining structural rigidity.

This fine perforated screen is ideally suited for industrial wastewater pretreatment in textile dyeing and finishing plants where fine fibers and lint must be removed before biological treatment. It is equally effective in food and beverage processing for recovering fine solids from wash water, in pharmaceutical manufacturing for API particle capture, in pulp and paper mills for fiber recovery and white water clarification, and in municipal MBR pretreatment where membrane protection demands removal of particles below 2 mm.
The SS316L construction makes it the preferred choice for desalination plant intake screening, offshore platform produced water treatment, and coastal wastewater facilities exposed to saline environments where standard SS304 would suffer pitting corrosion within months.
Each Perforated Fine Screen Mechanical Bar Screen is fully assembled and dry-tested at the factory before shipping. The equipment is wrapped in VCI anti-corrosion film, packed in a fumigated plywood export crate with reinforced steel strapping, and clearly labeled with lifting points, center of gravity markers, and handling instructions.
Every unit is supplied with a comprehensive quality dossier including material mill certificates for the SS316L plates, NDT reports for critical welds, a factory acceptance test report, and an installation and maintenance manual. Standard warranty covers 18 months from shipment or 12 months from commissioning, whichever occurs first. Extended warranty and commissioning supervision by factory engineers are available upon request.
