SE-5M E12.722 YG8 Carbide Preform – Semi-Finished for Custom Burr Production
The SE-5M E12.725 is a semi-finished carbide preform made from YG8 tungsten carbide. YG8 contains 8% cobalt, offering a good balance of toughness and wear resistance — making it suitable for custom rotary burrs used in general metalworking, deburring, and contouring applications.

The preform is pre-shaped to the SE series oval/egg profile, which is ideal for creating smooth contours, rounded edges, and controlled material removal. The E12.725 specification provides a consistent dimensional starting point, helping to reduce material waste and setup time.
