The SJ-1BM J0605 is a semi-finished carbide preform made from YG8 grade tungsten carbide. YG8 contains 8% cobalt, offering good toughness and wear resistance — making it a reliable choice for custom rotary burrs used in general-purpose metalworking, engraving, and fine detail applications.

The preform comes pre-shaped to the SJ series pointed cone design, which allows for better access into tight spots and intricate contours. The J0605 dimension offers a small, precise starting form — reducing your roughing work and getting you closer to the final shape faster.
