It is designed for filtering, noise suppression, pulse, logic, and timing circuits, as well as DC-blocking, by-passing, and signal coupling in communication equipment. Available in various capacitance and voltage ratings, these capacitors are manufactured with vacuum evaporated metal electrodes, encapsulated in flame-retardant plastic, and feature tinned radial leads.
