The PEC MKP DC series, also known as MKP DC (Metal Top), are power electronic film capacitors designed for demanding applications. These capacitors offer high reliability and long service life, compliant with safety standards like EN45545 HL2 (R22) and HL3 (R23) for smoke and fire. They are suitable for a wide frequency range and feature a robust construction with a hard polyurethane resin filling and an aluminum case with an M12 threaded bolt for mounting and grounding. The series is designed for natural or forced air cooling and offers various capacitance and voltage ratings.
