Product Overview
The LSSF Spiral Sand-Water Separator is a professional solid-liquid separation device specifically designed for grit chambers in sewage treatment plants. It efficiently separates sand-water mixtures discharged from sedimentation tanks. Key components include a shaftless screw, lining strips, U-shaped trough, water tank, baffle, effluent weir, and drive unit.
During operation, the sand-water mixture enters the water tank from the top. Heavier sand particles settle at the bottom and are pushed by the shaftless screw along the inclined trough. The sand continues to move and dewater after leaving the liquid surface before being discharged into a sand bucket, while separated clear water exits through the overflow port and returns to the plant's inlet pool.
