The 508 SW is the flagship estate in the Peugeot range: a long, glass-heavy tailgate on a car with a low, raked roofline and, in hybrid form, a 12V auxiliary system that must not be left with a parasitic drain. This powered boot opening kit is engineered for that combination. Two uprated actuators replace the factory gas struts, brackets follow the R83 hinge geometry so the panel clears the sloping roof at full travel, and the control module drops to a 2 mA sleep state between commands.
