Installation Preparation
Shaft outside diameter tolerance: ±0.05mm
Shaft run out: <0.1mm
Shaft end float: <0.13mm
No sharp edges on the shaft over the O-ring
Important Note: During installation, avoid scratching or damaging the O-ring. If any damage occurs, contact us immediately for replacement.
Installation Instructions
The complete cartridge seal set is cleaned and thoroughly leak-tested before sale. To prevent damage, do not disassemble or clean components before installation.
Step 1: The fitting allowance between seal and shaft is dl h6 0.8. Ensure there is a leading edge at the shaft end. The shaft outside diameter at screw position should be 0.1-0.2mm smaller to prevent overtightening. Lubricate the shaft with oil.
Step 2: Place the cartridge seal into the pump chamber, then:
A: Tighten four screw bolts of flanges, ensuring the medium leading hole "G" is at the top position
B: Tighten four set screws to position the shaft sleeve on the shaft
C: Remove four gauge plates - retain these for future installation and disassembly
D: Connect the medium lead-in pipe with hole "G" to flush away friction heat and flush the seal chamber during pump operation
Final Check: After completing installation, turn the shaft by hand to verify smooth rotation. If the shaft does not rotate smoothly, the seal has been improperly installed.
