0Cr21Al4 resistance wire is an iron-chromium-aluminum (Fe-Cr-Al) alloy designed for high-temperature electric heating applications, offering robust oxidation resistance, mechanical durability, and cost-effective performance. With a composition of 20–23% chromium4.5–6.5% aluminum, and balanced iron, this alloy forms a protective alumina (Al₂O₃) layer at temperatures up to 1,300°C (2,372°F), ensuring reliable operation in oxidizing and mildly corrosive environments such as industrial furnaces, household appliances, and automotive heating systems. Its low carbon content (≤0.08%) and controlled silicon (≤1.0%) minimize embrittlement, making it suitable for cyclic thermal operations where longevity and energy efficiency are critical.

Certified to GB/T 1234 and DIN 17470 standards, 0Cr21Al4 wire achieves a tensile strength of 550–700 MPa and a surface load capacity of 2.0 W/cm², outperforming conventional nickel-chromium alloys in cost-effectiveness for mid-range thermal applications. The alloy’s high electrical resistivity (1.30 μΩ·m) and low thermal expansion coefficient (14.5×10⁻⁶/°C) ensure stable energy output and dimensional stability, reducing operational costs in air or inert gas environments.
