0Cr13Al4 resistance wire is an iron-chromium-aluminum (Fe-Cr-Al) alloy designed for cost-effective heating applications requiring moderate-temperature stability and corrosion resistance. Composed of 12–14% chromium, 3.5–5.0% aluminum, and balanced iron, this alloy forms a protective alumina (Al₂O₃) layer at temperatures up to 1,100°C (2,012°F), ensuring durability in oxidizing and mildly corrosive environments. Its low carbon content (≤0.08%) and controlled silicon (≤1.0%) minimize embrittlement, making it ideal for heating elements in industrial furnaces, household appliances, and automotive systems where operational costs and longevity are critical.

Certified to GB/T 1234 and DIN 17470 standards, the 0Cr13Al4 wire achieves a tensile strength of 450–600 MPa and a surface load capacity of 1.8 W/cm², offering a budget-friendly alternative to nickel-chromium alloys. With a high electrical resistivity (1.25 μΩ·m) and low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR), it ensures stable energy output in air or dry inert atmospheres, balancing performance and affordability for mid-range thermal applications.
