Y4-73 (A-Type) Boiler Centrifugal Induced Draft Fan

 

* Model No.8A~16A of Y4-73 D-type boiler induced draft fan adopts high-temperature resistant backward curved impeller, heat-insulated volute casing, lengthened shaft with cooling wheel and heavy-duty bearing pedestal. * Special cooling wheel structure on the extended shaft effectively isolates high-temperature flue gas heat transfer to the motor housing, allowing long-time continuous operation under high-temperature boiler flue gas conditions up to 250℃. ·

* D-type split base belt drive design facilitates easy on-site alignment, routine maintenance and later motor replacement for thermal power plant boiler systems. ·

* G4-73 forced draft variant (same series) is also available for air supply system, with maximum working medium temperature ≤80℃. ·

* Impeller assemblies are manufactured with high-temperature resistant materials and pass strict static & dynamic balance calibration for stable low-vibration operation.

 

Y4-73 Model Features:

 

Material Properties

 

Y4-73 series fans are specially designed for forced draft and induced draft systems of 2~670t/h steam boilers in thermal power plants and industrial boiler stations. The series also includes G4-73 forced draft fans for general ventilation and mine air supply applications. All specifications are equipped with heavy-duty motors meeting E-class insulation standard; high-temperature resistant motor is optional for extreme flue gas conditions. Explosion-proof B-Y4-73 variant fitted with flameproof motor is available for boilers burning volatile flammable fuels.

 

Benefits

 

Standard Y4-73 induced draft fan is designed for exhausting high-temperature boiler flue gas (≤250℃), while G4-73 forced draft fan is used for air supply (≤80℃). Dust removal equipment with purification efficiency ≥85% must be installed at the fan inlet to filter ash particles and protect the impeller from abrasion.

 

Fan Structure

 

The cooling wheel between the impeller and motor housing is a key structural feature of Y4-73 fans, which effectively blocks heat transmission from the impeller to the motor, ensuring the motor operates within a safe temperature range even at high flue gas temperatures.

The series supports multiple rotating speeds (590~1490r/min) with matched power ranging from 7.5kW up to 200kW. Diversified speed-power collocations cover a wide flow and full pressure scope to satisfy different tonnage boilers’ smoke exhausting and pipeline resistance requirements.
