Custom Steam Turbine Seal Bush / Oil Seal Journal Bush
Product Overview
Steam turbine seal bush (oil seal bush) is a critical sliding sealing component installed at turbine shaft ends. It forms an oil film sealing structure with the rotating shaft to prevent outward leakage of lubricating oil and avoid steam intrusion into the oil system, protecting the safety of bearing and lubrication system.
We provide fully customized manufacturing services of turbine seal bushes applicable to large thermal power turbines, small & medium industrial turbines, waste heat turbines and generator sets. We produce split-type seal bushes and integral seal bushes. Optional Stellite alloy hardfacing can be implemented on the sealing working surface to improve wear resistance and anti-erosion performance. Our products support new unit assembly and overhaul spare part replacement.
Main Product Types
Split two-half seal bush (Mainstream type for steam turbines, convenient for installation and maintenance)
Integral circular seal bush
Oil baffle integrated seal bush
Optimized retrofitted seal bush for oil leakage treatment
Optional Raw Materials
Cast tin bronze, aluminum bronze, 42CrMo, 25Cr2MoV, stainless steel and other alloy materials. Material selection matches unit operating temperature, shaft linear speed and lubrication medium requirements.
Optional: Stellite alloy hardfacing on sealing surface
Bore roundness, cylindricity and flatness inspection
Non-destructive testing (PT/MT as requested)
Deburring, cleaning and anti-rust packaging
Core Competitive Advantages
High Precision Machining
Strictly control inner hole cylindricity, split surface fitting clearance and oil groove dimensional accuracy. Ensure stable oil film formation during operation, effectively eliminate oil leakage risk.
Excellent Wear Resistance & Sealing Stability
Reasonable material matching. For units with harsh operating conditions, Stellite hardfacing can be adopted to enhance high-temperature friction resistance, resist shaft abrasion and extend service cycle.
Flexible Customization
Custom design and processing according to customer drawings: different inner/outer diameter, split structure, oil groove layout, mounting flange form. We also provide targeted optimization schemes for on-site oil leakage faults of old units.
Strict Quality Assurance
Complete raw material test reports, heat treatment documents, dimensional inspection records and NDT certificates can be provided. Comply with power industry equipment manufacturing standards.
Adaptable to Multiple Working Conditions
Suitable for high & low pressure shaft ends of large turbines, as well as small waste heat turbines, back-pressure turbines and generator bearing sealing systems.
Application Scope
Thermal power main steam turbines
Cogeneration industrial steam turbines
Waste heat recovery turbines
Small & medium condensing / back-pressure turbines
Steam turbine generator sets
