BZ-6800-8-1-T is a two-part polyurethane encapsulant engineered for insulation, sealing, and protection of power supplies, waterproof connectors, plug assemblies, and wire harnesses. Its low-viscosity formulation ensures deep penetration and full coverage around components, delivering reliable defense against moisture, dust, and mechanical stress. This halogen-free system meets RoHS and REACH, performing steadily from -40°C to 120°C, with water absorption ≤0.1% and dielectric strength ≥18 kV/mm for enduring dependability in harsh operating conditions.

Key Product Features

1.Weather & Moisture Resistance: Strong hydrophobicity with ≤0.1% water pickup after 24-hour soak, inhibiting corrosion and leakage in humid or outdoor environments.
2.Electrical Reliability: Surface resistivity ≥1.0×10¹³ Ω/sq, volume resistivity ≥1.0×10¹⁴ Ω·cm, dielectric constant ≤6 at 50Hz, and breakdown voltage ≥18 kV/mm to prevent arcing and short circuits.
3.Adhesion & Toughness: Firmly bonds to aluminum, copper, plastics, and rubber (shear strength ≥3 MPa Al-Al), paired with elongation ≥30% and Shore D 65±10 hardness to endure vibration and thermal cycling.
4.Process-Friendly & Fast Cure: Straightforward 1:4 weight ratio (A:B) fits both manual and automated dispensing. Pot life 7–15 min at 25°C; tack-free in 20–60 min, full cure in 2–3 h at ambient, or 10±2 min at 60°C for high-volume production.
5.Regulatory Ready: Fully compliant with RoHS and REACH, plus halogen-free formulation, supporting global standards and eco-conscious manufacturing.

Directions for Use

  1. Pre-potting Preparation: Calibrate scales, prepare potting tools, cleaning tools, check machine settings, check vacuum pump force, etc. 
  2. Product Pre-treatment: Place product on a level surface or fixture. Remove dust, clean, degrease, and dry if necessary.
  3. Accurate Proportioning: Manual operation requires precise mixing according to the specified ratio and recording. Machine potting requires calibrated ratios and first-article confirmation is recommended.
  4. Mixing & Stirring: Manual operation requires thorough stirring or using electric stirrers to ensure homogeneous mixing. Machine potting requires sufficient stirring speed, adjust as needed.
  5. Uniform Potting: Manual operation should be done in small, multiple batches to ensure uniformity. Machine potting should follow the programmed path for quantitative dispensing.
  6. Inspection or Secondary Potting: After potting, visually inspect as needed. Perform touch-up, bubble removal, or secondary potting if required.
  7. Curing: Allow the potted and inspected products to cure at room temperature or with heat assistance (recommended 60°C if needed), according to product and process requirements.
  8. Final Product Confirmation: Perform visual inspection and performance testing as required by the customer.
