The Unictron Y050T1 is a novel dual-frequency ultrasonic air transducer designed for non-contact level detection and proximity measurement. It operates at 50 kHz and 200 kHz, offering a long sensing range of up to 12 meters at 50 kHz and a short blind zone of less than 10 cm at 200 kHz. This transducer boasts high resolution, exceptional reliability, and a waterproof IP68 rating, making it suitable for demanding environments. Its PVDF housing is FDA compliant and provides chemical resistance. The Y050T1 acts as a transceiver, transmitting and receiving signals, and is particularly well-suited for applications in the petrochemical, food and beverage, and water supply and drainage industries, as well as for monitoring river levels and detecting material levels in grain and powder.
