The Three Phase Decanter Centrifuge for Metalworking Fluid Recovery is designed to continuously separate tramp oil, aqueous coolant, and metal solids from used machining fluids.
It is suitable for cutting-fluid tanks, grinding coolant, rolling-fluid waste, parts-washing liquids, and centralized metalworking fluid systems.
Many coolants contain emulsifiers and surfactants that keep oil dispersed in water.
Heating, pH adjustment, or chemical conditioning may be required when the goal is to separate the emulsion. These steps should be avoided when the original coolant emulsion must remain stable for reuse.
Grinding fines and small metal particles may settle slowly.
Higher centrifugal force and stable feed conditions help improve solids capture.
Metal chips, scale, sand, and grinding abrasives can wear the feed zone, scroll, and discharge ports.
Carbide tiles, ceramic liners, or hard-facing protection can be installed.
The oil-water ratio may change during machining, tank cleaning, or coolant replacement.
Adjustable bowl speed, differential speed, and phase interface help maintain stable separation.
Biocides, corrosion inhibitors, detergents, and extreme-pressure additives may affect separation and reuse quality.

Screened metalworking fluid enters the rotating bowl through a controlled feed pipe.
