How the Decanter Centrifuge Works

1. Conditioned Sludge Feeding

Screened and heated pyrolysis sludge enters the rotating bowl.

2. Solids Sedimentation

Carbon black, ash, rust, and dense particles move toward the bowl wall.

3. Oil-Water Separation

The lighter pyrolysis oil stays near the bowl center, while water forms an outer liquid layer.

4. Continuous Solids Conveying

The screw conveyor transports settled solids toward the conical end.

5. Three-Phase Discharge
