Enhanced oil recovery depends on sustaining reservoir pressure by injecting large volumes of water at very high pressure. A water injection pump delivering 200 bar must run continuously, resist erosion, and hold head as reservoir pressure climbs.
This EOR high pressure pump is an integrally geared API 610 OH6 vertical machine rated to 200 bar at up to 80 m3/hr. A 500 kW drive and a precision-ground gearbox deliver the high differential pressure that secondary recovery schemes require.
For injection duty, wetted parts are offered in 316 stainless steel with hardened wear surfaces to resist erosion from produced water solids, while a tandem seal with an API 682 Plan 53 barrier system protects against leakage and solids ingress.
Each pump is built under ISO 9001 control, dynamically balanced, hydro-tested at full rated pressure and performance-verified. Dimensional and material documentation accompanies every unit, supporting straightforward integration into waterflood and injection skids.
Field experience with injection pumps shows that erosion and seal reliability drive total ownership cost far more than first cost.
