This imperial section is used for equipment frames, platforms, brackets, structural supports and industrial fabrication. The 1/4-inch nominal thickness provides a stronger section than light-gauge architectural angles.
Orders should remain in one unit system. If the final cut length is provided in millimetres, the governing cut tolerance should be clearly stated to prevent conversion disputes.
Twenty-foot material may be supplied as full-length bundles or cut before shipment. Full lengths require suitable container and loading arrangements.
Options include saw cutting, mitre cutting, holes, slots, PMI and heat-number marking.
