Product Overview
The Maximum Cushion Elastic Acrylic system is the thickest and most protective variant in our elastic acrylic range. It consists of a 6 mm rubber‑acrylic elastic layer (applied in multiple coats) followed by 2 mm of colour and texture coats, reaching a total thickness of 8 mm. This thickness provides exceptional impact absorption (up to 50% by ASTM F2157) – comparable to many prefabricated rubber surfaces – while retaining the breathability and fast‑drying properties of water‑based acrylic. The rubber particles are virgin EPDM (recommended for thick layers to prevent long‑term degradation). The final surface meets ITF Category 2‑3 ball bounce and remains fully porous.
