Butyl rubber waterproof membrane is a self-adhesive sheet offered in single or double-sided options. Primarily crafted with butyl rubber as the core,

it is coated onto reinforced or corrugated aluminum foil. This material forms a strong bond with various surfaces, making it ideal for

color steel tiles and roof crack repairs. Boasting excellent weather resistance, anti-aging properties, and waterproof performance, it effectively seals bonded surfaces.

Its shock-absorbing and protective characteristics remain in a non-cured state throughout its service life, adapting well to thermal expansion,

contraction, and mechanical variations of the bonded surface. As a solvent-free product, it neither shrinks nor emits harmful gases,

serving as an eco-friendly waterproof sealing and adhesive solution.

  • Outstanding bonding creep performance: When applied to concrete, it deeply seeps into concrete pores, preventing leakage even if the concrete cracks.
  • Excellent mechanical properties with high bonding and tensile strength, plus strong elasticity and ductility.
  • Robust chemical stability, providing superior resistance to chemicals, weather, corrosion, and UV rays, with a service life of up to 20 years.
  • Easy installation, safe and eco-friendly: Contains no volatile substances, non-toxic and odorless. Installable at -5°C, the cold bonding process is secure, green, and efficient.

      Construction applications      



  • Substrate Preparation: Clear all sharp protrusions and debris from the surface.


  • Primer Application (if required): For aged color steel plates, apply a compatible water-based anti-rust primer.


  • Formal Installation: Align the membrane with the guide line and use a rubber roller to roll forward and outward to eliminate air bubbles.


  • Overlapping Treatment: Press the overlapping areas firmly with a roller for secure adhesion.


  • Detail Handling: Reinforce details in accordance with relevant specifications for enhanced protection.

  • Roof and underground waterproofing; waterproofing at structural construction joints, short edge overlaps, or refined treatment of pre-applied membranes.
  • Sealing and waterproofing of construction joints in elevated, subway, and tunnel structures within municipal engineering projects.
  • Airtightness, waterproofing, and shock absorption at joints of color-coated panels and solar panels; bonding of cement, wood, PC, PE, PVC, EPDM, and CPE materials.
  • Waterproof and airtight treatment at joints, termination zones, and irregular sections of waterproofing projects.
  • Airtight waterproofing for residential doors and windows, shock absorption and bonding between floors, airtight waterproofing for ventilation ducts, and architectural decoration applications.
  • Repair of metal and cement roof leaks; sealing at overlaps of steel roof color plates and lighting panels, gutter joints, as well as in steel warehouses, granaries, and cabinets.
