The Midea Water Cooled Screw Chiller range serves facilities requiring continuous thermal management. The SHWE series (R134a fixed-speed) spans 94.6-565.6RT (332.6-1,988kW), while the SCWG series combines R513A variable frequency and R134a fixed-speed options across 90-550+RT capacity.
These chillers employ semi-hermetic twin-rotor screw compression with precision-engineered bearing assemblies designed for extended service intervals exceeding 50,000 hours. The flooded evaporator configuration promotes effective heat transfer, and the internal oil management system—with integral separator and dual-return architecture—ensures consistent compressor lubrication without external support equipment.
Variable capacity modulation responds to actual cooling demand, while electronic expansion control achieves sub-degree temperature stability. The color touchscreen interface provides intuitive operation with predictive load management capabilities. Soft-start functionality on variable frequency models protects electrical distribution systems from transient current loads.
