224V 100Ah High Voltage LiFePO4 Battery with CAN RS485 Communication
This 224V 100Ah high voltage LiFePO4 battery is designed for projects where PCS compatibility, communication and correct series commissioning are central to system selection. The four-module battery bank provides 20.48kWh of nominal energy.
CAN and RS485 interfaces support communication with compatible equipment when the protocol, firmware and cable definition match. The presence of the physical port alone does not guarantee successful integration with every inverter or PCS.
1. Confirm that the PCS supports the complete battery operating-voltage range.
2. Compare the PCS charging and discharge-current limits with the battery specification.
3. Identify whether CAN or RS485 communication is required.
4. Verify the protocol version, communication-cable definition and PCS firmware before production.
The listed normal charge and discharge current is 50A. The maximum charge and discharge current is 100A. The maximum value should be treated as an operating boundary rather than the required continuous setting for every project.
The PCS current limit may be configured below the battery maximum according to the required power, charging source, cable design and preferred operating strategy.
M8 terminals, module interconnection cables, system output cables, fuses, breakers and disconnect equipment must all be suitable for the planned current and high-voltage DC environment.
CAN or RS485 communication may allow supported battery status, alarms and operating data to be transferred to a compatible PCS. The exact available data depends on the selected communication protocol.
The LCD provides local access to supported battery information and can assist during commissioning. It does not replace PCS-side monitoring, insulation checks or electrical verification.
When communication compatibility has not been confirmed, installers should not assume that state-of-charge reporting or automatic current coordination will be available.
Before the system is energized, verify module orientation, series polarity, cable fastening, output voltage and the position of all external isolation devices.
The measured complete-stack voltage should be compared with the expected value before connection to the PCS. Incorrect module order or polarity can create a hazardous condition and must be corrected before commissioning continues.
Communication should be tested only after the electrical connection and protection arrangement have been verified.
High-voltage battery commissioning should be performed by qualified personnel using procedures and protective equipment appropriate for the project voltage.
