448V 100Ah High Voltage LiFePO4 Battery with LCD CAN RS485 Interface
This 448V 100Ah high voltage LiFePO4 battery combines 40.96kWh of nominal storage with LCD monitoring and CAN or RS485 communication. It is intended for compatible high-voltage PCS projects that require a defined DC voltage window and structured commissioning process.
The PCS must support operation from 371.2Vdc to 448Vdc. Selecting equipment from the nominal 448V value alone can overlook the lower-voltage operating condition.
Cables, breakers, fuses, contactors and disconnect devices must be suitable for the maximum DC voltage as well as the planned current. Equipment approved only for lower DC voltage should not be substituted.
The normal charge and discharge current is listed as 50A, while the maximum is 100A. The PCS should use compatible current limits and should not depend on BMS shutdown as its normal current-control method.
The required current depends on system power and operating voltage. The calculation should include PCS efficiency and the lowest expected battery voltage.
Connection resistance should be controlled through suitable conductor size, correctly installed M8 terminals and secure module interconnections.
The LCD provides local access to supported battery information during assembly, commissioning and inspection.
CAN or RS485 can provide a communication path to compatible PCS equipment. The correct protocol must be selected because the same physical interface can support different data structures.
Before production, provide the PCS brand, exact model, firmware and communication requirements. When compatibility has not been verified, state-of-charge reporting and alarm exchange should not be assumed.
1. Record the voltage of each module before series connection.
2. Confirm the physical order and polarity of all eight modules.
3. Measure the complete battery voltage before PCS connection.
4. Verify the external disconnect and protection status.
5. Test CAN or RS485 communication after electrical validation.
The battery system contains hazardous DC voltage. Commissioning should be completed by qualified personnel using appropriate procedures and protective equipment.
