DA60 is a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate terpolymer, it consists of about 84% of vinyl chloride, about 15% of vinyl acetate and about 1% of dicarboxylic acid.This chlorinated acetate terpolymer resin is designed as a key functional component in heat seal lacquer formulations. In this system, the chlorinated acetate terpolymer serves as the primary film-forming and adhesion-promoting resin, providing excellent heat seal activity and strong substrate bonding.
DA-60 combines the toughness and chemical resistance of vinyl chloride with the strong adhesive and plasticity of vinyl acetate. The resin exhibits outstanding adhesion to aluminum foil, aluminum-metallized films, and various plastic substrates. It delivers fast heat seal response and high initial seal strength under relatively low sealing temperatures and pressures, making it particularly suitable for high-speed packaging applications.
This vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate terpolymer DA-60 is widely used in heat seal lacquers for pharmaceutical packaging, aluminum foil lids, blister packaging, and flexible packaging applications where reliable adhesion, rapid heat activation, and consistent sealing performance are required. It also can be used in various paints, inks and binders.
