Description
The SK70KQ16 is a high-voltage, fast-switching IGBT power module designed for efficient and compact power conversion systems. It combines a 1600V blocking voltage with a 70A current rating, featuring advanced "Quick" IGBT technology that delivers a low collector-emitter saturation voltage (Vce(sat)) for reduced conduction losses and fast turn-off switching for lower switching losses. It is paired with a soft-recovery anti-parallel freewheeling diode to minimize voltage spikes and electromagnetic interference (EMI). This optimized balance of low losses enables higher switching frequencies, contributing to increased power density and smaller system size. Its robust construction ensures reliable operation in demanding industrial environments.
