A glazed porcelain incense stick holder carved with lotus petals, about 22cm long with a deep ash catcher. A quiet, low profile piece for a meditation table or altar.
A stick holder has one job, to hold the incense level and catch every bit of ash, and this one does it in a form worth leaving on the table. The body is glazed porcelain in a soft celadon tone, carved with overlapping lotus petals along its length, so it reads as a small sculpture when not in use. At about 22cm it takes standard length incense sticks, and the ash catcher is deep enough that a full stick burns down without spilling onto the table. The glaze wipes clean with a damp cloth.
Pieces are fired and checked for glaze pinholes and level seating so sticks sit at the correct angle. The glaze is lead free for indoor use, and each holder is foam packed and boxed.
