rear aerodynamic accessory developed specifically for this vehicle model. Installed above the trunk lid or in the rear bumper area, it optimizes rear airflow, reduces drag, and enhances the sporty visual appearance.
This product covers multiple styles including roof spoiler, trunk mid spoiler, and rear bumper deflector. Made from OEM ABS plastic pellets via injection molding, it fits Song PLUS DM-i, EV, and Champion Edition all series.
Inspect product before installation: After receiving the rear wing deflector, carefully check for damage, deformation, or paint defects. Confirm all accessories are included before proceeding with installation.
3M tape mounting is a no-drill method: This product comes with standard 3M double-sided tape and requires no drilling. If the ambient temperature is low (below 15°C/59°F), gently heat the tape and body surface with a heat gun or hair dryer to enhance adhesion.
Thoroughly clean the body surface where the rear wing deflector will be installed using an oil-free cleaner. Ensure no dust, grease, or wax residue remains, then allow the surface to dry completely.
Place the deflector in position for a test fit. Confirm the curvature matches the body lines and gaps are even. Use masking tape to mark the corresponding positions on the body for quick alignment during final installation.
If the deflector comes with pre-applied tape, check its condition. If applying tape yourself, evenly apply 3M tape along the deflector edges, ensuring all contact surfaces are covered.
Starting from one end of the deflector, peel off the protective film and align with the previously marked position. Press firmly from one end to the other gradually. Ensure the deflector makes full contact with the body without gaps or misalignment.
After attachment, press evenly across the entire deflector surface with your palm for 10-30 seconds to ensure full adhesion between the 3M tape and the body. Focus on edges and areas with significant curvature changes.
Check that the deflector is securely attached with no lifting or misalignment. After confirming secure installation, avoid car washing or high-speed driving for 24 hours to allow the tape to fully cure.
Installation temperature requirement: Installation is recommended at ambient temperatures above 15°C (59°F). In low-temperature environments, tape adhesion decreases. Gently heat the tape and body surface with a heat gun before applying.
Removal method: To remove the deflector, gently heat the tape area with a hair dryer, then slowly peel off at a slight angle to minimize adhesive residue.
