Description

 

0Cr23Al5 resistance strip is a high-performance iron-chromium-aluminum (Fe-Cr-Al) alloy engineered for demanding electric heating applications requiring exceptional oxidation resistance, mechanical durability, and energy efficiency. With a composition of 22–25% chromium, 4.5–6.0% aluminum, and balanced iron, this alloy forms a dense, self-healing alumina (Al₂O₃) layer at temperatures up to 1,400°C (2,552°F), providing robust protection against oxidation, carburization, and sulfurization in harsh industrial environments. Its low carbon content (≤0.08%) and controlled silicon (≤1.0%) minimize embrittlement, ensuring longevity in cyclic thermal operations such as industrial furnaces, kilns, and aerospace heating systems.

Certified to GB/T 1234 and DIN 17470 standards, the 0Cr23Al5 strip delivers a tensile strength of 580–720 MPa and a surface load capacity of 2.2 W/cm², making it ideal for heating elements in air, vacuum, or inert gas atmospheres. The alloy’s high electrical resistivity (1.40 μΩ·m) and low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) ensure stable energy output, outperforming conventional nickel-chromium alloys in cost-effectiveness and operational lifespan under extreme conditions.
