Storage Conditions
Temperature: 5 to 35 (less than 3 months if between 35 to 85)
Relative Humidity: 75% or less
Environment: No direct sunshine, no water, brine, oil, condensation, poisonous gases (sulfur, chlorine, ammonia), ultraviolet or radioactive rays.
Storage Time (Unsealed): Within 1 year after delivery
Storage Time (Sealed): Within 7 days from opening
Operating Precautions
Polarity: Do not reverse polarity.
Prohibited Circuits: High impedance, coupling, time constant, series connection for higher withstand voltage, or circuits sensitive to leakage current.
Overvoltage: Do not exceed rated voltage.
Sudden Charge/Discharge: Use protection circuits if rush current exceeds 10A or 10x allowable ripple current.
Soldering: Adhere to specified conditions to prevent increased leakage current and capacitance reduction.
Reuse: Do not reuse capacitors that have been assembled and energized.
Storage > 1 Year: Recondition by applying rated voltage for 2 hours at 105 with a 1k resistor.
Failure Mode
Primarily short circuit due to conductive polymer. In case of short circuit, overheating may occur, leading to case rupture.
